Capitalism is evil! Give us FREE shi***! But is it?
Ok, let me begin with this... this article is more like stating my opinion, thinking out loud and maybe give you some food for your thought. This article is a result of crowds glorifying Marxism which is essentially communism, vilifying capitalism and small business owners more than anyone else, screaming for greater bourden for business owners and more free shi** at the same time, universities teaching and preaching Marxism and new political parties forming on the prefix to abolish capitalism.
Lets start with a question What is the definition of capital or equity?
Simple definition:
Capital is money or assets that a business uses to generate (more) money.
In detail:
Capital includes anything that helps the business operate or grow, such as:
- Cash
- Equipment
- Machinery
- Inventory
- Buildings
- Tools
- Intellectual property
- Investments
Capital is the foundation of the business. It’s what you start with and what you invest into the business. From perspective of a founder of a business we could also say “blood, sweat and tears “. Because one needed so earn and save certain amount of cash doing some sort of job only to put that money towards ones own idea and than keep on working (pusting sweat equity in) it until market validation came trough.
Further on we can recognise capital is something that generates income. If I'm a freelancer I put in sweat equity to generate cash. If the business grows enough to create jobs I'm puting in knowledge, skills and money to generate more cash. If i put that cash towards some realestate to rent it out , that realestate will generate more cash.
So what is capistalism then?
Capitalism is a system where capital (money, assets, ownership) is used by private actors to create goods and services. They reinvest profits to grow, innovate, and build more wealth. So I even dare to say capitalism is a powertrain of inovation.
So in order for capitalism to work one need to invest. Created profits and wealth are the reward we get for work, inovation, investing and solving problems.
What is Marxism?
Marxism is a social, political, and economic theory that argues society is shaped by class struggle, and that capitalism will eventually be replaced by a classless, stateless, communist society.
Marxism vs Capitalism (one-sentence contrast)
Capitalism is based on private ownership and profit; Marxism is a critique of capitalism that seeks collective (government) ownership and the end of class division.
What would it mean to abolish capitalism?
In order to abolish capitalism we need to ban all sorts of investing. That means... to trully ride that train we ALL can only do what government provides. And working the government provided jobs we all get paid by the government who will take back that money in form of all kinds of taxes. What ever you'll get left you will get to spend on what government sells you. You can't save anything because savings create some equty, and you have nowhere to invest because if you do that would be called capitalism.
So where is the point of getting paid X amout of money by the government if they take Y amout of it back in taxes anyways? Just pay me whats left?! And whats left I'm giving back to the government just to get stuff to live.
Why whould they even pay me anything, just give me shi** i need to survive. Food, shelter, transpotation, ocasional amusement.
